Palmerston North High School Old Boys Marist, known as Old Boys Marist (OBM) is the amalgamation of the High School Old Boys RFC and Marist RFC.

The two clubs merged in 2008 into OBM and began a joint legacy in Manawatu Club rugby.

OBM is proud of both the previous High School Old Boys and Marist clubs and continues in the tradition of both clubs.

The club fields teams in Manawatu Senior 1, Senior 2, Colts, presidents and Women's grades and caters for all players, administrators and lovers of rugby.

  • We are a family orientated and community-based club actively promoting the rugby experience. Our mission is to foster the participation, development and promotion of junior rugby in the Manawatu.

    Junior rugby is great fun to play and is for all boys and girls under 13 years of age (4 Minimum)

  • We Offer:

    • Rippa rugby - U6 and U7
    • Tackle rugby - U8 to U13
    • Rip rugby - U8 and U9

Our fabulous team of the volunteer committee, coaches and managers assist players to develop a lifelong passion for the game of rugby.

Players learn the importance of fair play within a competitive team atmosphere whilst developing a positive attitude towards the hard work and practice that is needed to produce results in a team environment.
